Japanese band SunSet Swish playing live at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan. This band appeared to be very popular and many of the people watching knew their songs well. Apparently they have songs on some popular anime shows including Bleach.
Audio only of one of Japan's best pop-punk bands, Cigaretteman. This band was so good - too bad they stopped playing shows a while ago. If you want more info, check this link: http://www.virtualja pan.com/wiki/Cigaret teman
Japanese dance group Rhythm Sneakers break dancing at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan, Summer 2006. It looked like maybe they were practicing before the competition happening a few days later on the big Yoyogi stage. I have a little bit of footage from the competition which I'll try to post at a later date.
An adorable young Japanese girl (maybe 10 years old?) playing guitar at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo. She was so cute because her guitar and mic stand are bigger than she is, but she plays good guitar and sings well and has plenty of confidence.
J-pop band Wakaba playing live on the street near Shibuya on a public holiday in January 2006. They had a large crowd, a large percentage of which appeared to be female.

Japanese woman who dances on the street in Shinjuku when they close it on Sundays. She never cease to scare a few of the locals and tourists alike with her intensity and seemingly free form style.
A Japanese girl dressed in a schoolgirl uniform playing guitar at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan. If you know her name, please post it in the comments! Thanks.
Japanese band The Dilemma of Hedgehog live near Yoyogi. These guys are J-rock or punk or emo or whatever kind of rock you want to call it. There was a hip hop group playing right next to them so there is some noise bleed.
Japanese singer Cloudica performing her song "Happy Day" live near Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan. She is the artist who sings "Under the Sky" from Bakuretsu Tenshi.
Japanese band The Soul playing their song "You're My Friend" live at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan. The song has both Japanese and English lyrics. This song seems to be their "hit" because people watching were singing along.
The Japanese group D-Shine performing live at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan. The group seems to have a lot of members. These are three clips of different groups of dancers/singers cut together. They seemed pretty popuarl - lots of screaming J-girls.
The Japanese band Champagne playing live at Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, Japan. This band reminded me a lot of Coldplay - in the Travis, Oasis Snow Patrol, Keane realm. The singer mixed English and Japanese in the lyrics. Cool band.
